Bachelor of Business Administration (1996) and PhD from the University of Cantabria (2002). Her main lines of work are brand management, image creation process, consumer behavior and social responsibility. She is currently Head of the Department of Communication at the University of Cantabria (Vice-Rectorate for Campus Coordination of International Excellence).
Her research has led to the publication of over 20 scientific papers published in renowned national and international journals. She is the author of more than 30 papers defended in scientific congresses, coauthor of 7 books / chapters in marketing and communication and is researcher in more than 25 research projects.
She is Professor responsible for the subject Product and Brand Management included in the Master’s in Marketing Management from the University of Cantabria. She has also lectured on various subjects at the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences, in graduate degrees, Ph.D, official Master’s degrees and postgraduate degrees from both the University of Cantabria and other institutions of higher education.
She has participated in teaching and research in several international centers such as the Center for Business Ethics (Bentley University, Boston, Massachusetts), the Ehrenberg Center of Research in Marketing (South Bank University, London), the Technological Institute of Monterrey (Mexico), University Anahuac (Mexico DF), the University of San Jose de Costa Rica (Costa Rica) and the Universidad Santa Maria La Antigua (Panama City).
