Christos Sirros has been the Québec Government Representative (Délégué général du Québec) in Brussels for the last seven years.
He has been responsible for developing a strategy for the implementation of Québec's Policy on International Relations within the European Union. He has worked actively as a practitioner of regional diplomacy on issues related to the presence of Regions and Federated States on the international scene with respect to commercial, cultural and political affairs.
Prior to this, Mr. Sirros was an elected member of the Québec National Assembly for six mandates (1981-2003). He has served as Assistant Minister of Health (1989), Minister for Native Affairs (1990-1994) and Minister of Natural Resources (1993-1994).
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce and a Master's Degree in Education from McGill University.
